The Victoria Park Bowling Club was founded in 1912 at a meeting in the Victoria Park Town Hall by residents who agreed to form a Bowling Club. The inaugural President was Charles Harper who was also the local Mayor. The Carlisle Bowling Club amalgamated with Victoria Park in 2009. .

The club is situated at 18 Kent St, Victoria Park. The telephone number is 08 9470 3100 and email secretary@vicparkbowls.com.au.

The Bowling Club is more than an excellent venue to play bowls. It has become a main Function Centre for the Victoria Park Carlisle area as it has a large hall that holds 150 people; a commercial kitchen and an enjoyable bar area. Meetings, conferences and functions are well catered for with such good facilities.

The venue can easily host small or large bowling events such as the John Hughes Ladies Touch of Style, which is one of the most popular events on the ladies bowls calendar, plus the Quick and the Dead, a very popular Mixed Pairs event. There are 3 excellent grass bowling greens.

In summer there are 2 Ladies pennant teams on Tuesdays and 1 on Saturdays and 2 Men’s pennant teams on Thursdays and Saturdays. Championship games for ladies are held on Thursdays and Sundays and men’s on Sundays.

Barefoot bowls are held on Wednesday nights.

In winter mixed Scroungers are run on Tuesdays and Hyundai Mixed Pairs on Saturday afternoons.

Victoria Park Carlisle Bowling Club would like to welcome you to our Club. We are sure you will find good bowling – both social and pennants – and an enjoyable social club atmosphere.
